All welcome! The ANU Kitchen Garden is a free, drop in program for the whole ANU community.

Social and relaxed community gardening on campus. No experience needed - come along and learn. We grow food to share using regenerative principles and promoting biodiversity.Participants can harvest and share in garden produce. The Kitchen Garden is a great place to connect with people and with nature. You can share your own experiences and knowledge or learn from others or simply relax and have fun!

Come along and help with weeding, planting, seed sowing, watering, and looking after the plants and take home some fresh herbs or veggies. Gardening bees are relaxed, fun and social and a great way to get fresh air, exercise and to spend time in nature.

You don't need any gardening knowledge or experience: we'll teach you what you need to know!

What to wear/bring:

- A hat

- A water bottle

- Comfortable clothes and shoes - gloves are provided but gardening can be messy so please wear clothes that are comfortable and that can get dirty.

No long-term obligation is necessary; whether you choose to attend once a semester or every week is entirely your decision! Attendees have the freedom to join as many or as few regular sessions as they prefer.

It's crucial to register for ALL regular sessions and other events. Registration should be done via our Eventbrite page and can be completed up to one hour after the session or event starts.
