Get in quick for this unique nest-box building workshop providing families in the community with the opportunity to learn how to build, install, monitor and maintain nest-boxes for wildlife.

Run by Simon Cherriman, an award-winning environmental scientist/ecologist, author, educator and wildlife film maker – and an enthusiastic advocate for the unique Australian bush and its creatures.


$ 20 per nestbox - Subsidised by Town of Bassendean - valued at $90.

1 box per family / group of up to 4- 5 people.

Only a limited number of family tickets will be available .

Please note that each ticket covers one family/group.

The Town of Bassendean Community Hall located at 48 Old Perth Road. Accessibility/Disabled parking is available in the Library carpark, at the Seniors Centre and behind the Community Hall. General parking for the duration of the workshop is available for free at the Wilson St Carpark.
