In this workshop participants will learn how to analyse an event or festival to create an Emergency Management Plan. Let’s bring your event to life.

This workshop will be presented by Emily O’Brien from Elucidate, one of Australia’s leading teachers of Event, Risk and Safety Plans. Emily has 20 years of experience as a practising Production and Risk Manager with 'First In Last Out'.

Topics include:

• What is an Emergency Management Plan?

• Understanding what to include in an Emergency Management Plan

• Working through the creation of the documents

• Site plans and specifying Emergency access and assembly points

• Emergency evacuation areas

• Incident response procedures

• Training staff on emergency protocols

Refreshments available on arrival. Doors open at 6pm to encourage networking with other event organisers, with the two hour workshop starting at 6.30pm.
