WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?
Ecstatic dance by Psychegetics creates space for free-form movement in a chat free zone where you can dive deeply into the heart, reconnecting, expressing, shaking, crawling, dancing in and out, up and down, learning to let go of anything and everything that holds you back from your self and inner freedom. Let the energy move you, let the spirit of the heart guide you. There is space to dance alone and no pressure to connect with anyone else, just be yourself and honour what you need in the moment.
Facilitated and DJed by Pete Volos and Chris Alleaume, the sessions offer a mix of music designed to encourage movement, play, connection, and transformation. It's an invitation to be authentic, to unwind and to respect the sacred space we collectively create. This environment is all-inclusive and nurturing, promoting free expression through dance and music.
This is a safe and respectful environment that embraces 'all ways'. Drop your conscious mind at the entrance and just be present in the body. It is a practice that supports the free expression of emotions and inner space through movement and music.

Please come already dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for movement/fitness. Bring a set of dry clothes/small towel as you will probably get sweaty during the session. Don't forget your water bottle!

ECSTATIC DANCE HOUSE RULES:
1. Judgement free zone. Release all expectations and welcome the unexpected.
2. Dancing is done barefoot or gripped socks.
3. No photos or videos; keep mobile phones silent and out of view.
4. We are a Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, and Alcohol-Free zone.
