Event Overview:
Immerse yourself in the mesmerizing world of "Echoes of the Horn," where poetry theatre integrates seamlessly with cutting-edge headphone technology. This unique silent event offers an intimate auditory journey through the profound narratives and rich cultural heritage of the Horn of Africa. Narrated by Mo, a Somali refugee, his evocative tales of loss, resilience, and hope are interwoven with traditional Somali storytelling, primarily in English, with nuances of Arabic and Somali. State-of-the-art headphones will provide each attendee a crystal-clear personal sound environment, enhancing the connection to each narrative and transforming the experience into a captivating theatrical event. Set against Roxy’s Venue's vibrant backdrop, the evening promises a deep exploration of heritage and identity, resonating with the universal quest for belonging.
