"Do We Need Another Hero?" is a joyful celebration of songs about bravery and heroism. From pop to opera, country to classical, this live musical tribute features chart-topping anthems and unique mashups that will have you dancing in your seat.

Timeless hits by The Beatles, David Bowie, John Farnham and more, intertwined with opera classics from composer like Bethoven and Bizet, provide the perfect soundtrack for our story as we seach for what it means to be a hero.

From the creative team behind Are You Lonesome Tonight and Lady Sings the Maroons, Opera Queensland embarks on another epic adventure across Queensland.

Accessibility

Civic Centre Lift is currently out-of-order and therefore not available. Seating is downstairs in the Auditorium. Additional seating will be released in the upstairs gallery dependent on booking demand.

Food and Drink

Pre-order of Grazing Boxes and Wines are available as an option at the time of booking tickets. The Auditorium Bar will be open for drinks including alcohol and snacks for the event.

Seating is unallocated. A fun relaxed banquet style layout is planned with tables and chairs to keep your drinks and snacks to hand.
