About this event

Learn how to capture stories through audio, photography and video. You'll learn basic tips and tricks on how best to record audio and video, as well as editing, in this four-day beginner filmmaking course. Designed to start slowly using simple techniques, and progress to more complex short videos, you will walk out of this course with at least two films.

Come along with your stories that you've been keen to share and gain the skills you need to be a story catcher for the community and family.

Led by local palawa artist Andrew Mansell and award-winning filmmaker Lara van Raay, and supported by Libraries Tasmania. Limited places are available. To register your interest, book a ticket here.

Audience: For members of the Tasmanian Aboriginal community.

Dates: 23, 24, 25 and 26 May 2024 (the workshop is run over four days).

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm.

Please contact Andrew Mansell on 0408 231 303 or Angela Sferco 6478 4230 for more information.
