Kickstarting the event, Prof. Leanne Togher will set the tone for the day's insightful discussions.

9:05 am to 9:10 am - Welcome and Acknowledgement
Our DHIN convenor, Dr. Melissa Brunner, will extend a warm welcome and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land.

9:10 am to 10:30 am - Grant Writing Skills and Top Tips

  • Dr. Jillian Eyles will share tips on stress management during a grant writing period
  • Dr. Matthew Ahmadi will offer advice on juggling grant writing with ongoing projects and manuscript writing.
  • Dr. Liliana Laranjo will provide strategies for overcoming grant rejections.
  • Prof. Antoine van Oijen will impart strategic advice from the FMH research office.
    Following, you can engage with our panelists in an interactive session, where you can ask questions and gain further insights into the world of grant writing.
