Join us for a journey through the Darwin Defence Industry and its Enabling Infrastructure, presented in collaboration with DefenceNT, the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre, and the Chamber of Commerce. This exclusive tour offers an inside look into the vital components and businesses that support and enhance our defence capabilities.

Program:

  • 0830: Meet at Aboriginal Bush Traders. Start your day with an introduction and meet fellow tour participants.
  • 0845: Board the coach to kick off the tour. Settle in for a day filled with insights and exploration.
  • 0900-1000: Explore enabling defence businesses Colemans printing and Life H2O
  • 1000 - 1030 Embark on a windscreen tour of East Arm, featuring stops at the Bulk Fuel Storage Facility, Marine Industy Park, and the future site of the Ship Lift, among others. This segment offers a unique overview of the infrastructure driving the defence industry.
  • 1030-1115: Experiance an exclusive tour of Darwin port
  • 1115 - 1230: Dive deeper with visits to local businesses Northtrack Machinery and Duratec.
  • 1300: Conclude the tour with a drop-off back in town at Aboriginal Bush Traders.
