About this event

Everyone needs to learn to sell

  • Get investors
  • Get a sale
  • Get a job

Any type of pitch is welcome. We can only become polished through repeated practice and feedback. So, we're running an event to help make you great!

The format is:

Pair up.

Ready! Pitch! Stop! Review and learn! Swap pitchers!

Ready! Pitch! Stop! Review and learn! Find a new partner!

We will repeat this process throughout the evening with both your 1-minute and 3-minute pitches.

You’re not on a stage. It’s not public. You’re pitching your peers, you're receiving feedback, and you’re mastering your pitch.

**Come prepared with a 1-minute pitch, a 3-minute pitch, a notebook and a pen. All attendees will be required to swear confidentiality.**

This Pitch Academy will be run by Peter Kuykendall D'90, MIT Sloan'97.

The Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth, the MIT Sloan Club of Northern California, and The General Partnership (The GP) are providing an exclusive in-person opportunity to join like-minded entrepreneurial Dartmouth and MIT Sloan alumni for a workshop.

Space is limited and this will fill up. Sign up now!

More about our hosts:

The GP are a team of engineers, recruiters, designers, and GTM experts who work directly in the trenches with founders. They recruit world-class teams, fast. They help you close your first customers. They prototype tools and ship products that save years of engineering time. They also invest capital like every other VC firm.

All small business owners, founders, future founders, executives and employees at startups, investors, contracting freelancers, and any other Dartmouth or MIT Sloan affiliated entrepreneur is welcome to join us for this evening workshop! This includes Geisel, Guarini, Thayer, Tuck, and MIT Sloan alumni, parents, relatives, or partners.

This event will be hosted at the GP office in Embarcadero (200 Green St, Door 1, San Francisco, 94111). Food and beverages will be provided.
