About this event

  • 4 hours

We'll draw inspiration from our favourite foods, transforming them into a smorgasbord of small-scale soft sculptures that celebrate the intersection of art and daily life.

Participants will learn several different approaches to creating their own soft sculptures using recycled materials - no need for a sewing machine.

This workshop is inspired by Tutti Arts Mini Series exhibition currently showing at Gallery 1855.

  • No experience required.
  • Suitable for participants 16 years and older.
  • All materials provided.

If your circumstances change please let us know by 9am Friday 21 June 2024. Cancellations after this time and date will not be reimbursed.

About the workshop facilitator

Donna Gordge is a multidisciplinary artist. Her work mostly involves making sculptural objects, collage and artist books from a range of media. As Stitch Paint Burn Studio, Donna teaches a broad selection of creative workshops primarily aimed at beginners. The thing that most excited her is bringing new creative experiences to people that don't consider themselves artistic.
