About this event

You may encounter an Eastern Barred Bandicoot, Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby, Rufous Bettong, Eastern Bettong or maybe even an Eastern Quoll. These species are self-sustaining and co-existing across the landscape. Group sizes are capped to ensure everyone has a great experience. The tour takes approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on the wildlife you encounter.

Tix: $50 adults, $35 children under 17 years, children under 5 years are free. Bookings essential.

What to bring: Water and any light snacks you are likely to need. Wear weather appropriate clothing with enclosed sturdy footwear. You are welcome to bring torches and cameras (flash is OK).

Note: Smoking is not permitted on the tour.

Tour Cancellations: Tours at Mt Rothwell are run – rain, hail or shine. However, we reserve the right to cancel a tour at short notice due to severe weather conditions for public safety reasons (e.g. dangerous winds, predicted lightning strikes). We will endeavor to give you as much notice as possible (at least 24 hours) and will reschedule the walk at the next available and suitable time for you and/or your group.
