Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of native birds and study their decorative characteristics.

You will create a vibrant water colour on canvas composition of these amazing birds.

What you need to know

  • Suitable for beginners to advanced, 18 years and over.
  • We provide all the materials and equipment.
  • Wear suitable art workshop clothing.
  • We provide tea and coffee. Bring your own snacks.
  • Cancellations after 9am Friday 31 May will not be reimbursed.

About the artist / workshop facilitator

Katie Sandison is an Adelaide based painter, curator and art teacher. Her birds and botanical work is featured in galleries throughout South Australia and interstate. Katie has taught visual art in schools and privately for nearly 30 years.

Since graduating from art school she has participated in 50 exhibitions and has curated numerous exhibitions, the most recent being Sense of Place at the Adelaide airport.
