About this Workshop

Part 1: Clinical Training & Interactive Simulation: Seating Management This session combines theoretical knowledge with an interactive simulation to lay the foundation for effective seating management. Participants will:

• Explore the importance of seating and the basic concepts of seating management.
• Understand the relationship between size, pressure, and posture in seating.
• Gain an overview of pressure care and postural management in seating.
• Learn why Configura chairs are a preferred choice for seating solutions.
• Simulation to solution: Engage in interactive simulations to understand how various conditions, such as mobility impairments or neurological disorders, impact seating needs.

Part 2: Practical Training: Seating Management Building on the foundational knowledge from Part 1, this session focuses on hands-on training with Configura chairs. Participants will:

• Learn seating assessment strategies specific to Configura chairs.
• Get an overview of the assessment tools available for seating management.
• Follow a measuring guide for Configura chairs to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Watch demonstrations of Configura chairs to understand their features and benefits.
• Engage in case studies to determine what adjustments need to be to Configura chairs, ensuring personalized seating solutions and discussions on clinical justification for seating choices.
• Ask questions and clarify any doubts: Receive personalized feedback and address any practical concerns.
