Course Overview

We’ll start our session with some ice-breaker activities to help us all get to know each other a little better and to set the workshop off in the best possible way. Then they can all set their learning goals – I mean, we can all set our learning goals! We’ll then engage in some collaborative goal-setting exercises to help guide our participants in creating their very own individual goals for their work!

The Communication Process

This will be a proud process. Participants will walk strong and straight and talk slowly and clearly through their rings of communication until they’ve got their message into any ears they need it in. They will come out ready to talk or get someone to talk any time, any place … but caution those still under construction.

Communication Skills

This will be your chance to drill in what is perhaps your most indispensable life skill: how to attend to the seething tempest of feeling within you, how to channel it, how to speak it in a way that’s empathetic and not damaging. Expect a quick survey of four key elements of healthy communication crucial to your success in life.

Influencing

Free yourself from the constraints of the ‘sugar-coating’ style and be bolder with influence. Ground your persuasive efforts in a new veracity that will enable you to successfully achieve results you didn’t think were possible.

Challenging Situations Understanding and Managing Conflict
