Join us at Aquatic Reserve for a dragon boating session, to experience a sport that originated in China over 2000 years ago. If you like it, and we hope you do, you can join as a recreational/social paddler or take the athlete's pathway to become the best in the world.

Bring a bottle of water as we hydrate regularly. Wear comfy clothes and shoes that can get wet as you are trying a water sport.
Yes. Bring friends, family members and/or workmates to share the experience with you.
We will sign you up on Dragon Pass which allows you one month's free membership to see if you really, really like it. One that expires we would like you to join our club, ACDC.
We cater for all levels of fitness. If unfit, we will begin slowly and over a short period of time you will notice how your fitness and strength is improving. Dragon boating gives you a full body workout, providing excellent cardiovascular and strength training sessions.
Definitely. There are 6-8 race days during the season culminating in the State Championships in March. We also compete at the annual Australian Championships. There are great opportunities for the club to compete overseas and you can become an Aurora and represent Australia at World Championships
No, it isn't. If you attend 3 sessions per week it works out at approx $2 per session. That covers insurance, State Association registration, Club membership and race fees. Additional expenditure would be for your own paddle and club merchandise (race top etc).
