About this event

Disclaimer: This series is a dedicated to individual's who have registered to contribute to the Collective Project. For more information on how to join, please go to Honey Bones Gallery's website linked here.

Collective is a community arts initiative where individuals are invited to contribute their art and words to our community inquiry, 'Where Strength Lies'.

We invite you to create art, in any modality, which will be featured in our exhibition and published book.

Collective Sessions

These sessions are dedicated to registered individuals that may have some blocks in their expression, to experiment, play, explore and expressive what strength means to them, both artistically and through story.

These sessions will run similarly to art club sessions, seeing us explore the theme 'Strength' through art-making.

If you'd like to create your artworks for Collective in these dedicated sessions, bring a canvas and maximise your time with all materials provided!

Art Club Spiel:

Art club is an open invitation to express, explore, experiment, and engage with different art-making prompts and materials.

Unlike typical art-making spaces, we don’t instruct you on how to make art- we encourage you to find what feels right, without the pressure of it looking a certain way.

You will find yourself in a group setting, chatting and connecting amongst other legends and chilled beats. The space is facilitated by arts therapist and community facilitator, Don Fazliu. Don introduces you to Art Club and checks in on you throughout the session. They also facilitate the group dialogue at the end of the session. This is where we come together and share our artworks, what we’ve come to know about theme and ourselves. This supportive space is created by everyone within the group, and it is really lovely to share and listen.

Art club is a proudly inclusive space and welcomes all members of the community, regardless of artistic skill. We believe that everyone is an innate artist.

Curious? Come along and find your expression
