About this event

Join us at the Coercive Control Forum, hosted by YWCA Australia and Wilkinson Legal Resolutions to improve your understanding of coercive control, including all forms of the new definition of ‘abusive behaviour’

Network and build relationships with other local services, share resources to support your clients so together we can ensure the Coercive Control offence can be prosecuted, support our community and save lives.

NSW Parliament passed the Crimes Legislation Amendment (Coercive Control) Act 2022 in November 2022, with the provisions expected to commence in the middle of this year, it is important for everyone to understand how the new offence can be prosecuted by meeting the elements of the offence, beyond a reasonable doubt.

This is a free event in the Wingecarribee for DFV service providers, Health, Police and front line workers and includes morning tea, lunch & afternoon snacks, with key note speakers and lived experience advocates delivering throughout the day an invaluable and informative forum.

Tickets are limited and will go quickly, so be sure to secure yours now.
