This class will run Wednesday evenings 6pm-8pm over four weeks. It is perfect for beginners, no experience is necessary.
Wednesday 24 July - intro to buttercream and cupcake piping (take home cupcakes)
Wednesday 31 July - piping advanced buttercream flowers (take home cupcakes)p
Wednesday 7 August - piping Russian buttercream flowers (take home cupcakes)
Wednesday 14 August - decorate a buttercream cake (take home your cake)
Over four weeks you will gain confidence with buttercream and be able to produce beautiful creations!
Learning outcomes:
- how to make buttercream, including colouring and flavouring
- learn how to fill a piping bag easily, with no mess
- hands on experience to pipe rosettes, stars and more with a variety of nozzles
- knowledge of how to pipe advanced buttercream flower designs
- hands on experience to stack, mask and cover a cake with straight sides.
What's included:
- six pre-baked cupcakes in a carry box (week 1, 2, 3)
- a mini cake in a box (week 4)
- a take home two recipe booklets - cupcakes and cake
- a take home piping practice sheet
- ongoing support for your baking endeavours through an exclusive Facebook group.
All you need to bring along is yourself, everything else is supplied!
