We are very happy to announce that we have the opportunity to participate in an Industry Workplace Visit for our Business and Tourism Deliverers in the Bundaberg Region.
This Business and Tourism Industry Workplace Visit will take place at Kalki Moon Distilling Company, 22 Commercial Street, Svensson Heights, QLD, 4670 on Wednesday 29th May, between 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm at no cost to teachers.
Founded in Bundaberg’s cane fields, Kalki Moon is the region’s artisan distillery. It was born in Bundaberg, named after the Bundaberg suburb, Kalkie — where owners Rick and his wife, Kylie built their home. It is a family-owned business that started with just 2 small stills, but demand for its products has seen the business grow rapidly. Kalki Moon prides itself on buying and acting locally to produce all Australian-made and grown products.

Teachers who are able to join us for the visit will have a guided tour of the facility, where the guide will showcase how the Distillery operates, allow you to experience behind the scenes, and educate you about the Business. Teachers will be afforded the opportunity to ask questions throughout the tour.
At the completion of this event, Binnacle Training will complete your Binnacle Profile entry and we will issue you with a Certificate of Participation for your attendance, therefore enabling you to fulfil your Semester 1 (or Semester 2 if you already have a Semester 1 entry completed) Industry Workplace Visit (i.e HR Requirement) in Part 4 of your Binnacle Profile.
