There is no cost to visit. But if you would like to join to be a part of the referral networking group, there is a joining fee and yearly membership fee. On average members see a 50 - 100 times ROI in their first couple of years as a member.
Haha no! That's always a funny. Yes we are accountable to each other. Yes we turn up every week. Yes we find referrals for each other every week. Yes we follow a system. But the system has been shown to work, so we follow the guidance, and stick to the rules because we know it works.
We turn up at the same time every week. Statistics have shown that businesses who met even fortnightly had their stats drop by half. By showing up each week and learning more about each other's businesses each week, we refer business each week! It's pretty simple.
As a member you have small monthly subs to cover venue costs. This is on top of your membership fee to be a part of the BNI system. We have no catering costs, so the fees are quite low.
In BNI we generally stick to the Power of One. Meaning we aim for: Finding 1 referral a week for a fellow member (anywhere in the World.) Doing 1 Education hour per week (there's loads of education platforms). Doing 1x 121 a week (meeting with another member) and inviting 1 visitor per month.
Yes! To get the most out of BNI you start out by completing our Member Success Program (a couple of hours of training) and also our Passport to Success program, where you meet with experienced members to show you the ropes. You may also be assigned a mentor.
We like to have substitutes (subs) up our sleeve to step in our place if we can't make a meeting (a planned absence). But if you are sick last minute, you are allowed a certain number of absences in a 6 month period. We are all human!
