About this event

Come down to Musicland or watch online for Melbourne's biggest open mic night Every Wednesday at 7pm. Its a FREE EVENT hosted by Garry Hollow. The Backline is provided, Its open to all ages, and very a encouraging atmosphere.
The event will be simulcast to Facebook and to the big screen at Musicland so everyone can join in the fun! Everyone is welcome to perform or just watch and join in the chat. Say hello on the live stream and you might get a special mention!

Is it free to attend Open Mic Nights?

Yes of course! Just bring your sticks and guitars down with you.

Do I need to register to perform?

No, once you arrive please see Garry who organises the night and he will get your name on the board ready for your turn to perform

Is it age restricted?

Not at all, its is open to all ages to come along and join in.

How long will I get on stage?

We usually allow 3 songs per group but if you stick around you might get another chance to get up with other musos

Can I bring my band?

Yes of course, you can perform as your band, or you can make a group with other jammers.

Can I be a featured band for streaming?

Definitely! Just speak with Garry Hollow next time your at the jam and he can organise to feature you as the weekly artist and get you streamed live to socials!

Is there a backline provided?

Yes, there is a full backline provided, you will just need to bring your guitars and sticks along.
