In this collaborative yoga workshop led by 2 experienced yoga teachers (Nadine @yoga_blondie & James @james_henderson___ ) we merge the harmonious energies of both masculine and feminine, creating a supportive space for exploration of yoga inversions, play, personal growth- and guidance for you on your yoga journey.

Together, during this 2.5 hour workshop you will experience:

  • Extended dynamic vinyasa yoga flow
  • Yoga inversions; crow, headstand, forearm stand & handstand inc. psychology, anatomy, alignment, breath and balance

Often in day to day public yoga classes there is simply not enough time to delve into the intricacies of yoga inversions. So, here is your chance to take the time, discover the joy of yoga inversions, meet fellow students and as a result expand your yoga practice for better experiences in day to day public yoga classes.

Two yoga teachers for this yoga workshop allows for personalized guidance and hands on adjustments. All participants will receive a handout and access to supporting online resources after the workshop is over.

Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to the practice of yoga and want to take the first steps on your journey to yoga inversions come and get elevated. Experience the joy of flying in the company of kindred spirits.

About your teachers:

Nadine @yoga_blondie

Nadine Stuerck is a dedicated vinyasa yoga teacher based in Berlin. With 500-hour teacher training in vinyasa yoga and further 30-hour training in rocket yoga with Amanda Quiambo, Nadine offers dynamic vinyasa flow and invigorating sequences as well as rocket inspired yoga.

Nadine is fresh from a 4 month pilgrimage to India and Bali undertaking further training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga.

Nadine is excited to share her passion for inversions - she loves to get upside down!

As a modern yogi James has a passion for integrating yoga into our busy lives to help us create a more meaningful existence and better relationships with ourselves, others, and the planet. Yoga is the antidote to modern life.

James completed his 200hr yoga teacher training with Power Living Australia in 2017. He went on to undertake 30hr Rocket Yoga teacher training with Amanda Quiambao in 2023. He is currently undertaking study in ‘Taoist Energetics for Yoga’ and will undertake additional training with Vinay Kumar in Prana Vashya early May 2024.

James has taught at leading yoga studios in Australia and Germany including Yoga Loft, A Yoga Life, Dharma Studios, Mindful Life, and Every Damn Day Yoga as well as hosting corporate workshops including for Accenture.

A keen student of yoga for 13 years James has also completed yoga workshops with yoga's most respected teachers: Bryan Kest, Duncan Peak, Meghan Currie, Cameron Shayne, Eoin Finn, Raghunath (Ray) Cappo, Tiffany Cruikshank, Les Leventhal, Simon Park, Cveta Jovanoska and Patrick Beach to name just a few…

James has studied Buddhism and meditation part time at RIGPA Australia for several years with Sogyal Rinpoche. He has also attended two 10 day Vipassana silent meditation retreats led by SN Goenka in the Blue Mountains, Australia. In addition to an affinity with yogic philosophy he is a keen student of stoic philosophy.

As an advocate of personal disruption and a firm believer in the power of a single carrot to set off a revolution James' vinyasa flow, power yoga, yin yoga and meditation classes are recognized as dynamic and sprinkled with lived experience, yogic philosophy and positive psychology to spark self-reflection along with luscious sounds.


Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

Suitable clothing for yoga, ideally activewear. The room will be slightly heated so expect to sweat a little.

Do I need a yoga mat?

There are mats available for use at the studio.

What should I bring?

Water bottle, small towel and perhaps notebook and pen- dont forget your smile!

Can I join as a beginner?

Absolutely - the workshop will cater to all levels and support each participant on their journey.
