MidCoast Council and Birdlife Australia are partnering to trial a Birds on Farms project in the Branch River and wider Karuah River Catchment
The program aims to match landholders with birdwatchers and scientists to help you learn more about bird distribution, population health, and habitat use on your farm to aid bird conservation efforts.
To kick this all off, we’re inviting you to a field day at 781 The Branch Lane on Friday 14th June to find out more about the program, as well as get an introduction and some expert advice about the birds of The Branch and open woodlands across our region.
What to bring: Binoculars (we’ll have some on hand if you don’t have any), closed in shoes, hat and a camp chair.
