Join us this Clare Gourmet Festival for a delicious long lunch in the Claymore Wines' Barrel Store! Indulge in traditional Italian cuisine while surrounded by the charming atmosphere of the Barrel Store.
We are incredibly excited and proud to confirm that the first of our 2024 red wines will be back in barrel in the barrel store ahead of our Barrel Store Cucina Long Lunch on the 26th May so our resident 'Wine Thief' - Jamie Manson - will be drawing samples of our single site estate Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon for you to taste upon arrival.
Then take a seat at our table as we serve up 5 courses of love on a plate! Our inspiration for the menu - "The Pasta Queen" (Nadia Caterina Munno) espouses the philosophy that to cook and feed people is an act of love and that beautiful pasta is love on a plate. We welcome you as family to join with us as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Clare Valley Gourmet Festival in our Boot Room Barrel Store - converted for the purposes of the day into our 'Cucina' or Italian Kitchen.
Each course is paired with our Claymore 'wines that rock' - including an exclusive pre-release sample of our 2023 Blackbird Sangiovese. Finish your afternoon and toast to good health with traditional Italian digestif, Limoncello. Cin cin!
