Hawkers are opening the roller door of the brewery so you can buy and taste our Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2016 before it's very limited release.

• Be the first to sample our Limited Release Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2016

• Pre release purchases of this same beer (Gold Medal Winner at the recent 2016 Craft Beer Awards) $15 per 330mL bottle, 4 X 330mL bottles for $55, or 8 for $100.

• Sample Hawkers beers; Hawkers Pale Ale, Hawkers IPA, Hawkers Pilsner and Hawkers Saison (all medal winners at the recent AIBAs and CBAs).

• Meet the brewers and hear their stories directly. Learn about our styles!

• Experience a guided brewery tour and twin samplings of Limited Release Imperial Stout 2016 (bourbon barrel aged and original unaged) with the brewers on the hour (1-7pm, 8 person ticketing limit per session).

• Indulge in Brisket Rolls (and a vegetarian option) for purchase from Burn City Smokers - Purveyors in Meat Cooked over Wood.

• Laugh at the antics of the bearded bakers from The Knafeh Bakery who bring their container to Hawkers. Their tasty treats are also available for purchase.

• Find Hawkers merchandise available for sale – T-Shirts, Hoodies, Tin Signs, Caps, and of course, 6 packs and cartons of our beers.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No requirements to attend but bring your photo ID if you intend to purchase or consume Hawkers Beer on the premises.

If you sell out of the Limited Release Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout on the day, what happens?

We will hold your purchases for you. Please arrange to pick up your beer on the day of the event (Saturday, 13 August) before 8pm. Any beer purchases unclaimed as of Thursday, 28 August will be forfeited.

What are my transport options getting to the event?

Tram Route 11 Stop 47-West Preston/Gilbert Rd (Preston) is the closest tram stop, and is a 15 minute walk to the brewery, or a $6 Uber ride. The brewery is located at: 167 Henty Street, Reservoir, VIC 3073.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable or refundable?

Yes, if you are unable to make your tour or pick up your beer yourself, your ticket can be used by a friend or acquaintance. Please ensure that any recipients are of legal drinking age. No refunds will be provided.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes you can (detailed instructions here):

1. Go to Tickets.
2. Select your order.
3. Select "Edit."
4. Save your changes.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, a digital copy viewable on your phone will suffice. We will also have your name, which we will verify with proper ID should a printed ticket or your phone be unavailable.

Will this product be available at retail?

Any beer left following the pre-release will be released to the trade by allocation, with the aim to support those customers who have best supported us in VIC, TAS and SA. Supply will be severely limited, however, so to avoid disappointment we recommend pre-booking your bottles now.

Any beer remaining following the pre-release will be released to the trade by allocation, with the aim to support those customers who have best supported us in Melbourne, Tasmania and Adelaide. The limited release for our Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2016 (12.2% ABV)

Aged in Wild Turkey and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels.

Layers of mocha and roasted malt with notes of marshmallow, oak, and vanilla.

Big, dark, and beautiful.
