Come and try out Australian sports and meet new people at this free event for anyone who has recently moved to Australia, including international students, refugees, people seeking asylum and new migrants.


Qualified professionals will teach you the basic skills of our much-loved sports such as AFL, basketball, cricket, hockey, netball, rugby league, soccer and volleyball.


You’ll get the chance to learn about the history and rules of mainstream sports and their place in Australian culture. Also find out about local community sporting club, volunteering and work experience.


This is a great opportunity to get active, make new connections and build your teamwork and communication skills.


All people are welcome. This event is ideal for international students, newly-arrived migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum. You must be 18 years and over to participate.


Registration is essential and lunch is provided free.
