Has Maths got you crying at the dining room table? Found yourself nodding when your teacher explains a question, even when you don’t get it? Don’t fear, drop in and talk to an expert who can make Maths make sense for you.
Georges River Libraries has teamed up with OpenWisdom to present Ask Me Anything at Hurstville Library during the upcoming July school holidays. This event offers you, as a Year 7-12 student, the unique opportunity to bring any Maths question you have and work directly with our tutors to find the solution.
Just three easy steps to getting your questions answered:

🎟️ Step 2: Bring your digital ticket to check-in on the day
✅ Step 3: Bring your questions (up to 3) to our expert Maths tutors who will help you work through the question on-the-spot.
Remember to bring a physical or digital copy of your questions for the tutors to go through. We will not be accepting files on USBs - please bring your own device to show your work to the tutor.
We will also have a study area open to all registered attendees, so you can continue working through your own questions during the session.
This event is completely free for all students in Years 7-12 to attend and there is no set timeslot for your tutor consultation, so feel free to bring your friends and drop in at any time during the event to receive one-on-one help. However, please register now to secure priority access to our expert Maths tutors.

No, you can drop in whenever you like within the two-hour session. You can also bring your questions to as many of the tutors as you like during the event.
Yes, you can drop in on the day. However, we will ask you to register at the venue to ensure our tutors know to help you. Students who register before the event will be prioritised.
No, this event is open to all high school students! Our tutors are equipped to help students from Year 7 to 12.
To ensure every student gets a chance to receive help from our tutors, we ask that you pick up to three (3) questions to work through. However, since there will be multiple tutors available, feel free to bring different questions to each tutor.
