The Friends of Ainslie Volcanics Grasslands have obtained a large number of native tubestock to help improve the quality of the grassland and increase the site's biodiversity as part of the 2023-2024 ACT Environment Grant round.

On Sunday the 5th of May, the volunteer group are encouraging members of the community to come and help plant these species to be a part of positive local environmental change.

This will be a great way to start your Sunday, with morning tea available and an opportunity to meet the volunteers onsite who have been working hard enhancing the Ainslie environment.

Meet at the corner of Quick Street and Hayley Street, keep an eye out for the yellow volunteers sign. Please bring a water bottle and a hat.
