About this event

Are you on the search for relaxing and enjoyable creative sessions? This abstract painting and landscape painting projects class will provide the opportunity to flow with natural energy and create your own amazing artwork.

The session will start with learning some painting techniques and tools which you can incorporate within your projects in the class. Learn about washes, layers, brushes, palette knives, feathering, stippling, stamping and more.

We will then create both abstract and landscape artworks together.

Experience is not necessary as you will paint what you are ready for and have guidance during the class. If experienced, this will add more to your skillset and the joy of painting.

The class will be recorded and available for 7 days so you may revisit the session or if you miss the class you will be able to watch it later.

Bookings: one booked ticket allows one person to join the online class. If you have more than one person sharing your video class in your work or home location then each person watching and participating needs to book in. Thank you.

What you will need to bring:

Note: A Colour Mixing Chart as a helpful guide will be available with your booking.

- A small Water Spray Bottle (can be bought from variety stores, supermarkets)

- Old cloths to clean up with: 1 x wet, 1 x dry

- Water container to Clean brushes in

-2 Small dishes to create Paint Washes in

- Palette (eg a sheet of plastic, ice-cream or takeaway container lid, or art palette)

- Palette Knife (very handy for different techniques), or use a piece of strong cardboard or plastic. Something to use in a similar way...even a kitchen spatula! If purchasing a palette knife these can be tapered or rectangular in shape.

- 1 x sponge brush or kitchen sponge cut into small rectangular pieces

- A set of Paintbrushes (eg 1 x small, 2 x medium, 1 x large)

- 4 sheets of art paper for acrylic paint (or an art pad of paper, A3 or A4 size)

- 1 x canvas board of a size you like, eg A3, A4. (Or use the paper suggestion from the previous point).

- small pots/tubes of Paint. Primary colours (red, white, black, blue, yellow) and any other colours you like, eg green, turquoise, and other variations. Or mix your own colours from the primary colours, see the guide below:

Blue and red create purple; yellow and blue create green; blue, yellow, and red create brown; white creates lighter tones of colours; black creates darker tones of colour. Bring the colour mixing chart with you (emailed to you later once the booking has been made).
