If you're wanting to get stronger, LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT™ is a sequence of 12 x 45-minute progressive workouts. (Tue & Thurs 6:45am x 12 weeks)

Whether new to lifting or a seasoned pro, LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT will build muscle, improve technique, and grow your confidence so you can train more powerfully in the studio and on the gym floor.


Floor Coaching is a big part of this program...By aligning workout requirements with individual strengths, your coahc can help optimize individual performance and achieve outstanding results as the whole team grows and develops together.

What to expect


Join our Strength Development Team and grow together over 12 weeks Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:45am (45min sessions)

LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT is progressive strength training, meaning each workout focuses on a specific training protocol for building strength over the 12 workouts. This ranges from Foundational Strength, to Hypertrophy, to Pure Strength, while the structure and feel is very different to Body Pump.

The music is there to provide great workout tracks but there’s no requirement to move to the beat. Instead, optimum results are achieved through the use of time under tension and rep-ranges, depending on the prescribed protocol of the workout.

What are the benefits of Resistance Training?

Resistance Training is very important to both athletic performance and general health. It helps us produce more force, which increases our ability to move ourselves and objects in our environment efficiently. Consequently, it improves our function and performance in sports and everyday life; it may also reduce injury risk through improving joint support, while also improving bone health.


How is STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT different from BODYPUMP and GRIT™ STRENGTH?

• BODYPUMP trains Strength Endurance.

• GRIT STRENGTH is High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with resistance.

• STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT focuses on Strength and Muscle Hypertrophy through slower movements while lifting a heavier load using tempo and lower rep ranges
