Collecting donations with Eventbrite

With Eventbrite, you can collect donations using a custom ticket type. When you create a new ticket, select “Donation” as a ticket type. Attendees can then decide how much they want to donate per ticket. Eventbrite collects fees on donation tickets depending on the amount of the donation.

Creating donation tickets for your event

When you eblink{create tickets=>https://www.eventbrite.com.au/support/articles/en_US/Multi_Group_How_To/how-to-create-an-event-using-our-new-event-creation-experience?lg=en_AU#3-1}, you can make a donation ticket type. In this case, attendees can choose the amount they want to pay, instead of a price set by you. If you're using your tickets purely for donations, not for event access, it's best to eblink{disable printable tickets=>https://www.eventbrite.com.au/support/articleredirect?anum=3303} to avoid confusion.
