Eventbrite Logo

Updated by Antwonne D.

It's easy to track visitors coming to your event listing with Eventbrite’s tracking pixels tool for AdRoll. Head over to the “Campaigns” tab of your Adroll account to get started.

NOTE: To learn more about AdRoll pixels visit the eblink{AdRoll Help Center=>https://help.adroll.com/hc/en-us target=_blank}.

1. Go to “Campaigns” in your AdRoll account.

In the section “Paste Our Pixel,” highlight and copy the adroll_adv_id and adroll_pix_id. You’ll need the values of both to create a tracking URL.

3. Paste the adroll_adv_id and adroll_pix_id into an empty text document to build your tracking URL.

Paste the adroll_adv_id and adroll_pix_id into an empty text document to build your tracking URL.

You’ll always start your URL with “https://d.adroll.com/ipixel/”. Next, add the value of your adroll_adv_id (highlighted in blue above) after the forward slash. Then add another forward slash and add the value of your adroll_pix_id (highlighted in yellow above). Copy the entire URL once you’ve built it, so you can paste it into Eventbrite.

4. Go to your Manage page on Eventbrite.

If you add the Tracking ID to “This Event”, it’ll only be added to that individual event and won’t be copied to a new event if the event is eblink{copied=>https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=3268}. If you add the Tracking ID to “All Events”, it’ll apply to every event in the Eventbrite account, and when the event is copied, the Tracking ID will also be copied.

8. Choose your Conversion Event and paste your AdRoll tracking URL.

Click "Conversion Event" to choose one of the 3 conversion events that you can track through Eventbrite and then paste your AdRoll tracking URL. The 3 conversion events are: • Event Listing - Your event listing on Eventbrite • Event Register - The registration form on Eventbrite (after an attendee selects to checkout/register) • Event Order Confirmation - The order confirmation page on Eventbrite

NOTE: You can add multiple tracking pixels for each of the 3 conversion events. Just repeat the process for each conversion event.

9. Save your changes.

Your changes aren’t saved automatically, so make sure to choose "Save" to integrate your event with AdRoll.

10. Verify that your tracking pixel is firing.

To verify that the tracking pixel is firing make an order for the event you added the tracking pixel to. Once the pixel is active, your dashboard should update to indicate “SmartPixel Active” in the right sidebar.

NOTE: If you continue to see “SmartPixel Inactive,” check out eblink{Adroll’s help article on troubleshooting=>https://help.adroll.com/hc/en-us/articles/211846028}.
