Yuva Gujarat (Gujarati Association of Australia)
Founded in Year 2010, Yuva Gujarat, Gujarati Association of Australia, is one of the largest cultural organisations in Australia, with thousands of Gujarati-speaking members, volunteers and supporters. The name of the association is derived from the word ‘Gujarat’, India’s westernmost state.Yuva Gujarat is having 9 years of activeness and trying our best in a bigger and better way in promoting Gujarati culture.
The framework of Yuva Gujarat was set in 2010, it has since grown to one of the most active Indian organisations in Australia, holding many exciting cultural, sports, community and recreational events that bring uncountable Gujaratis together.
We started with very small group of people in Sydney & slowly started gathering people with similar interest and values across Australia and gradually to New Zealand as well. Currently, there are thousands of people associated with us.
We are proud to introduce Navratri Dandia Season each year Australia wide after the success of series of dandia shows in last 6 years which are witnessed amongst Indians Australia wide. Since 2017, we started the same in New Zealand and got an amazing response from our Auckland community.
