Women's Council for Domestic & Family Violence Services (WA)

The Women's Council is a state­wide network with 60 member services made up of Women’s Refuges and Shelters; Domestic Violence Outreach, Safe at Home Programs, Children’s Counselling and a range of initiatives that support victims of domestic and family violence in Western Australia. The Women’s Council are representatives on a number of advisory panels and committees which include; WESNET (Women’s Service Network, national peak), Ombudsman’s Domestic and Family Violence Death Review Advisory Panel; WA Family Violence Governance Council and co­facilitates the Domestic Violence Advisory Network with the Department of Child Protection’s Family and Domestic Violence Unit.
