Warners Bay Area Sustainable Neighbourhood Group

The Sustainable Neighbourhood Program is an initiative of Lake Macquarie City Council to assist the Lake Macquarie community to decide how they can contribute to sustainability as individuals and as a group.  Contact 4921 0333 or  to find out more about the Program.Warners Bay Sustainable Neighbourhood Group is made up of local residents who care about their neighbourhood, and are committed to working together to make it more sustainable.  As a Sustainable Neighbourhood Group we engage widely with our community to develop a Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan or SNAP.  Each SNAP summarises:

• what people value about their neighbourhood
• the broad range of assets and skills available
• a 10-year vision for their neighbourhood 
• and what actions and projects the group will undertake to acheive their vision.
