Among the awards my creative work has won are NYC’s Chain Theater One-Act Festival Audience Choice Award, Brooklyn’s WILLiFEST Outstanding Achievement in Short Screenwriting, LA’s CineStory Foundation’s Best Short Screenplay, NY Drama League Best Full-Length Play-in-Progress Award, finalist at New Dramatists and semifinalist at the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, and writer’s fellowships at the Edward F. Albee Foundation and the Blue Mountain Center Artist Residency. My writing has been an Official Selection, Award Winner, Finalist and Semifinalist in 24 competitions.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Manhattan and the Director of a psychotherapy service for the 43,000 employees of the RWJBarnabas-Rutgers Healthcare System.
