The Legal Mixer was founded by Jennie Siow, a Corporate Lawyer based in Sydney. After graduating, Jennie found it difficult to stay connected with her law school friends due to everyone's hectic schedules. Despite attending numerous networking events to make more friends, she often found the atmosphere too professional and formal. However, in this journey, she has met many wonderful people in the industry who have become some of her closest friends, and she realized many share the same sense of disconnection. She is on a mission to transform the way legals connect through The Legal Mixer. The Legal Mixer organises events for people like Jennie, are looking to form genuine friendships beyond LinkedIn connections.
