The Grief Cocoon

The Grief Cocoon is a community platform for grief support, art, and awareness that works towards a world where no one has to grieve alone. We host community events, creative workshops, and grief education workshops for organisation and non-for-profits.

The Grief Cocoon was founded by Gabriela Georges - a musician, poet, and facilitator whose work often explores grief, loss, love and nature. Her grief journey started when she lost her mum a few months shy of her 21st birthday and shattered the safe and loving world as she knew it. She found grief to be quite an isolating experience, and this led her to eventually facilitating spaces where people could come together to share their experiences of grief and loss through art and conversations.
