The Butterfly

Often described as an energiser bunny or social butterfly, Anna Krjatian, the founder of The Butterfly. She is a first generation Australian immigrant whose parents fled war-torn Georgia when she was 4 years old seeking to start a new life for their family.

Anna is a semi-finalist of the Austalian Women's Weekly 2016 Qantas Women of the Future Competition for her first book Unmasking Depression. She also recently published her second book Lovely - Poetry on Love and Loss and successfully funded it on Kickstarter. As an entrepreneur, artist and performer, some of her credits include editing Teens Big Dreams, a motivational and life-skills book for young people, winning several poetry awards including the Australian Our Space competition, being a member of YouMove, Sydney's only Youth Dance Company, performing as a dancer and actor at various events and having my artwork Follow Your Heart commissioned and donated to one of Sydney's major hospitals.

A graduate of Western Sydney University, Anna completed a Bachelor of Communications degree with Distinction.
After overcoming many challenges and much darkness, Anna realised that her dream was to share her story with as many people as possible and help them recognise that their pain has a purpose. Which is why she founded The Butterfly, a brand whose mission is to empower people, one book, one person and one conversation and transformation, at a time.

Join her vision and share her dream.
