The Australian e-Health Research Centre

A joint venture between CSIRO and the Queensland Government, the Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is a leading national research facility in Information and Communication Technologies for healthcare innovation. Through a wide range of projects, from standards in electronic health records to identifying new markers for early diagnosis and treament of disease, the AEHRC aims to improve the quality and safety of healthcare in Australia. 

Based in Brisbane, the AEHRC collaborates with Queensland Health clinicians and service providers on multi-disciplinary projects, leading to new ways of delivering healthcare for chronic care patients and providing safer and more efficient care across the healthcare spectrum.  

The AEHRC continues to build collaborations around Australia, with an expanding tele-health group in Western Australia and project staff in Sydney and Melbourne.
