St Barnabas College is a Christian community encouraging all people to know and love God through learning.
Students and lecturers learn together in a community that is prayerful, encouraging, thoughtful, scholarly and dedicated to a Generous Orthodoxy.
St Barnabas College (SBC) was established in 1880. It is informed by the past, yet deeply engaged in the issues facing society today and into the future.
As an affiliate of Charles Sturt University (CSU), SBC has a reputation for academic excellence undertaken in a welcoming place that values:
Respectful conversations about life and faith
Supported by the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide and serving the Province of South Australia and beyond, St Barnabas College is at the centre of the life of the church and reaches out widely, both geographically and theologically.
Students and lecturers come from a range of expressions of Christian faith and practice: Anglican, Pentecostal, Salvation Army, Baptist, Uniting, Catholic and Orthodox, to name a few. Its graduates serve in the church, business, education and community organisations across Australia. Non-university pathways are also available.
Are you looking for a community that will encourage and challenge you to grow in faith through learning? St Barnabas College is the place for you.
