Maree has always had a passion for cooking and baking. Her father was a pastry cook and baker so it's in the blood!
Maree started seriously baking bread about 40 years ago and has focussed on sourdough bread for the last 15 years, Maree decided it was time to share the love by offering sourdough bread baking classes. Knowing and controlling what goes into your food is a great life choice. The love of sharing breads to the community and teaching people skills to enable them to be more in control of their lives is something she loves doing. Many of Maree's corporate world years were as a Senior Training Officer so she also knows how to pass on the skills in a way that best suits your learning style. Because you can do something doesn;t necessarily mean you can pass those skills on! Where possible, all of the products Maree uses are organic, Australian and sustainably and ethically grown. Maree also manages a support group for Australian Sourdough Bakers dediated to education and problem solving. Maree often conducts communtiy group education and team building sessions.
