Celebrating over 163 years of dedicated spiritual service, Shiloh Baptist Church has been an integral part of the surrounding community and the nation. Founded amidst the turbulent turmoil of the Civil War in 1863 by twenty-one former slaves, Shiloh has always been at the forefront of improving the economic plight of all those who enter its doors as well as helping to uplift souls who desire a closer walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With a focus on educational and social enrichment programs, Shiloh continues to play an important role in the life of the City and has been a catalyst for racial equality, upward mobility and achievement for all.
