Rob Sams

Rob is both the Principal Consultant at Dolphyn and the Founder and Author of Social Sensemaking.

Rob has more than 20 years experience working with organisations in risk, safety and organisational culture. He has worked with a range of organisations from large International’s to small family run businesses and ‘not for profits’, bringing a diversity of knowledge and experience to clients.

Rob uses his knowledge of social psychology to help people and organisations ‘filter’ the many pressures they are made anxious about by regulators and various media. He is able to bring the many complexities of systems demands ‘down to earth’ to a relevant and practical level. Rob holds formal qualifications in social psychology, risk, safety, coaching and is a lead auditor in OHS/WHS and Environmental Systems.

Rob also a Member of the Society of Australian Social Psychologists and The Society for Risk Analysis Australia/New Zealand. Rob has been a Director and Board member of Lifeline Hunter Central Coast since November 2012 and is currently the Board Chair.
