RACCS
Khaleah Bradshaw and Joshua Williams' journey didn’t start with a formal business plan; it started with conversations—lots of them. As alumni and former administrators at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), they often found themselves meeting up to talk about ways they could make a bigger impact together. Both felt a pull to do more, to give back to the communities that had shaped their lives in Compton and South Central Los Angeles.
In 2022, Joshua took the first step by launching JW1 Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping educational institutions and nonprofits, but it wasn’t long before the scope of their vision began to outgrow those initial plans. A year later, Joshua brought Khaleah on board as Chief Operations Officer, knowing that her leadership could help take the company further. Together, they realized that while JW1 allows them to make an impact as consultants, their hearts were still set on something bigger: a nonprofit that could directly serve their communities and bring their other ideas to life in real, tangible ways. And so, in 2024 Khaleah and Joshua launched RACCS (Reaching Across Communities and Challenging Systems) to serve as a vehicle for real change, a way to challenge the status quo and uplift people from the communities that they come from. Their lived experiences, growing up in communities often overlooked, give their mission real purpose.
