Psyched Solutions

Psyched Solutions is founded by the Principal Consultant and Director  Sharon Orapeleng. Sharon is a mental health professional and advocate who is passionate about creating community awareness around mental health issues and working with  government and other stakeholders on policies to improve mental health services. She has been delivering Mental Health First Aid as an accredited Instructor to Government, Non-Government organizations and general community for over 8 years.

Sharon holds degrees in Behavioural Sciences (Psychology and Neuroscience) from Latrobe University, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters in Behaviour Management from Bond University.

Sharon is accredited by Mental Health First Aid Australia to deliver a number of courses including:

            Adult Mental Health First Aid Course (12hrs)

            Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person Course (4hrs)

            Mental Health First Aid for Non Suicidal Self Injury Course (4hrs)

            MHFA for Gambling Problems (4hrs) and

            Older Person Mental Health First Aid (12hrs) .

Her clients included Brisbane Rugby (Easts Rugby Union and Sunnybank Rugby Union) staff and players, Australian Red Cross, State Library of Queensland, many volunteer and community groups amongst many others.

Sharon arrived in Australia from Botswana 20 years ago to pursue her dreams and is thriving and contributing to her adopted country. She is the lifelong partner to David and mother of Xavier Setso and Makeba the dog.
