Brief History on ProArt

We thought we give you an insight into one of Australia’s oldest off road training providers. Proart was started in 2004 by Lyndon Blake, but his coaching career was long before when he was an assistant instructor with Blackbutt gully motorcycle complex schools, where he worked with some of the legends of the sport like Anthony Gunter, Phil Lovett, Grant Cramer, Peter Paice and Matt Carlson to name a few.

Lyndon is a MA/NCAS Level Two instructor and has had a successful racing and coaching career spanning 45years.

Also working with Motorcycling Queensland with Elite Junior Training Camps, Coaching at QMP, Mini Musters and teaching Coaches courses in QLD and NT . Working with MA, providing training at the Australian Institute of Sport with Elite rider programs.

Since 2004, Together with Pro MX rider and coach Tye Thies, Proart has provided quality coaching throughout Qld, NSW, VIC,NT and ACT in the disciplines of MX, SX, Enduro ,Trials and has even assisted coaching Free style, Super Motard and Road Racing

Proart became the Preferred provider for the Australian Defence Force rider safety program and worked with Trailbike law enforcement skills and training development.

Proart is also available for any club that requires coaching at their venue. We can design a coaching day based on the club’s requirements.

Meet your Proart Coaches

Proart instructors have over 50 years of experience with Racing and Coaching at the highest level of all the dirt disciplines. Also, Lyndon has done Elite Rider camps at the A.I.S in Canberra for Motorcycling Australia and the Australian sports commission.

• 3rd overall Qld state trials title 2022 & 5th in Legends QORC 2022
• Australian Institute of Sport Elite Course instructor
• Former Mx 125 title holder & Former Sx 125 title holder
• Former Mr Motocross contender
• Former State Title holder (various states) in Mx, Sx and Enduro.
• Competed in Europe and the USA.
• Manufacturer test rider

James Wager

• MA/NCAS accredited Level One (1) instructor ( 7 years’ experience )
• Multi National Junior Trials Champion
• Multi State QLD Trials Champion
• Represented Australia at the Oceania Junior Trials Championships. Hard enduro specialist coach,
• Currently completing A grade Trials ,Australian and Queensland Off Road Championships, AORC/QORC and Hard Enduro events
