Phoenix Amara
Phoenix has spent over a decade creating as a Transformational Artist, Speaker, Sacred Sexuality Coach and Ritualist. She's a muse to wild hearts across the world and is a believer in the healing of embodiment, ritual, and eros.
Over the past 13+ years, she’s facilitated hundreds of somatic sensual ceremonies & journeys for clients, as well as mentoring thousands through her online and in-person trainings, retreats and events. She has been featured as a guest speaker on many renowned podcasts and has facilitated at numerous festivals and events worldwide.
Her 2023 book “Ascension of Gaia: Resurrection of the Sacred Sexual Feminine” is an evocative transmission exploring the link between humanities evolving relationship with our planet from Mother Earth to Lover Earth paralleled with the rise of sacred sexuality and women's sexual healing. It's the Holy Yes for shedding the shame around one's sexual healing journey, wherever that takes you.
While her diverse career path has spanned many different avenues such as visual art, architecture, community building, and feminine wisdom, the red thread between them has been around a sense of belonging, on the earth, in our pleasure, bodies, and expression.
Having mentored in esoteric studies and metaphysics since her childhood, she continued studying visual arts and a healing path through plant medicines (Ayahuasca, DMT, Psilocybin among others), personal development modalities, energy healing and finally the erotic healing arts.
As the former co-founder of Awakened Woman Convergence (2016, 2017) she’s organized international retreats and conferences in destinations such as Bali & Arizona, performed and spoken on dozens on stages across North America such as DreamTalks, SoulPlay, Lucidity Festival, Hawaii Tantra Festival, and Electric Love Festival and led retreats in sacred sites around the world.
After years as a visual artist, freelance graphic designer and performer, her healing journey guided her to begin navigating themes around the intersection between spirituality, religion, sexuality and pleasure. It was from these that her group processes in healing through Soul, Sex & Art was born.
Bringing her love and experience in musical theatre, visual art, magic, ritual, embodiment and self -expression together with her spiritual path as a devotee and priestess of Isis, she co-founded the HOLY EROS INSTITUTE with Sonja Semyonova, a professional institution focused on healing the relationship to one's body, relating, and love itself through embodiment, ritual theatre, and creative healing ceremonies.
She also co-founded the 34-acre EarthSong Farm Community in British Columbia, and founded the Medicine Media Design Agency.
Phoenix has a Bachelors of Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia where she expanded upon her Visual Arts Diploma (with a focus on performance theatre, painting, and sculpture). She has also studied with many teachers in leadership, sacred sexuality, energy healing and plant medicines.
