Parks Victoria - Park Walks
Park Walks are group walks led by one of Parks Victoria's trained Volunteer Park Walkers that suit a range of different walking styles. Parks Victoria is commited to supporting the community to receive the health benefits of getting active in parks.
Walking in nature is a great way to stay fit and healthy. Enjoy stunning scenery, breathe in fresh air and, if you are lucky, see the local wildlife. Park Walks are free, don't require any equipment beyond comfortable walking shoes and they're suitable for all ages.
Our friendly Volunteer Park Walkers lead:
Kids Walks - facilitated walks aimed at Children and Families. (less than 30 mins)
Welcome Walks - introductory level walks for those getting back into fitness. Easy, flat and fun. (30 - 40 mins)
Nature Walks - a more intermediate level of group walking for people keen to try new trails and for something longer and more challenging. (45mins to 2 hours)
Cafe Walks - Short or medium walks that have cafe options either during or at the end of the walk.
Discovery Walks - a facilitated walk that focuses on interpreting and providing information on a site including heritage or natural features.
